Difficulty with website navigation was a primary pain point for users, so I used that knowledge to create a sitemap.
My goal here was to make strategic information architecture decisions that would improve overall website navigation. The structure I chose was designed to make things simple and easy.

The home page displays a list of tutors, categorized into online and in-person options, with the ability to mark tutors as favorites. A bottom navigation bar offers five options: Home, Bookings (to view scheduled sessions), Favorites (to access saved tutors), Profile, and More. Clicking on a tutor’s profile opens their detailed view, while the Book button redirects users to the calendar booking page to schedule sessions. After confirming the booking with the Confirm and Pay button, users see the booking details and can click Done to return to the home page.

Method: Unmoderated usability study
Location: India, remote (each participant will complete the study in their own home)
Date: Sessions will take place during the week of November 21-25, 2024. 5 participants will try the app to book their preferred tutor. Each participant will then complete a questionnaire on their experience.
Length: Each session will last 15-20 minutes and will include an introduction, a list of tasks on low fidelity prototype, and a short questionnaire.
Compensation: No compensation
